First it was the Green Jihadi’s peferring to create a dust bowl in California’s central valley along with massive unemployment in order to ‘save’ a two inch fish called the Delta Smelt, than no one had ever heard of or cared about before. Now a far left loon senator from the state of Washington, Democrat Maria Cantwell (D-WA), is attempting to block a mining operation in Alaska because it could possibly, maybe, sort of, affect salmon in her state. Senator Cantwell is asking Obama’s overreaching Environmental Protection Agency to over reach once again and block a gold and copper mining operation in a state not her own because of the slight possibility it might upset the fish. Thats right, she is more worried about a stinking fish, one that is not in any way endagered mind, than the thousands jobs this project would create. What was that again about the left being all for the middle class and job creation? I guess that’s only if you don’t upset the fish.

The mine would become the world’s biggest attempted extraction of gold, copper, silver and molybdenum, a mineral that’s used in steel and makes the steel more resistant to heat, among several other uses. Senator Cantwell is asking for the EPA to make use of the Clean Water Act if necessary to block the project. The most curious part of this is that Sen. Cantwell is trying to block the project before the environmental impact study has been conducted or a final report made, the report is due to be issued later this year.

While Sen. Cantwell may or may not have a legitimate issue, again no report has been released by the EPA yet, this episode illustrates the larger point of the left’s real agenda and upside down priorities when it comes to job creation vs. their failed Green Agenda. When the rubber meets the road a democrat will choose a two-inch fish, or a Spotted Owl for that matter, over Americans being gainfully employed and able to feed their families. It seems that the democrats and their fellows of the Green Jihad will not rest until they have reverted the entire western US to it’s pre-settlement conditions.

If those folks wish to live in mud huts and while away their hours composting and singing Joan Baez songs, well, that is certainly their perogative and I say more power to them. I draw the line when they attempt force all of us to live as if the industrial revolution never happened.

Sorry folks, the gravy train has derailed, time for you to go back home, we can no longer afford you. We can no longer afford to pay for your welfare, for your dozen kids, your housing and your medical care. We have our own problems to deal with and our own citizens to take care of, citizens who were born here or came here, unlike you, legally. You do not have a right to be here despite what the liberals tell you, and you do not have the rights of an American citizen. You are not an American and if you broke the law in the simple act of being here, what in hell makes you think we should extend the rights of citizenship to you now? By the act of coming here you have shown that you do not care about our laws, so do not deign to bitch now that you want the protections of those laws. We don’t want you, your kids, your gangs or your corrupt ways in this country any longer, actually we never did, but we are giving people so we tolerated you. Well, there are limits even to our toleration.

You have come here for a free ride, well, the ride is over and should have been over long ago if we had elected politicians with some, how do you say ‘cajones’. We will not allow you to turn our beloved country in to a mirror image of the third world shit holes from which you were spewed. If you want a better life, fix the dump you came from, you are not wanted here, we did not ask you to come here. But we will be polite in asking you to leave of your own accord, for a while at least. If you take this warning and go home on your own, then I wish you the best of luck. If you do not, you will be forcefully ejected from the united states, and frankly, I don’t want to hear your bitching.

And don’t give me that shit about how we stole the land from you, yadda yadda yadda, bullshit. We kicked your sorry asses fair and square and you signed the treaty, so piss off. If you really think that you have a chance in hell of somehow reclaiming this land then I say, bring it on. Even the Mexicans in Texas at the time wanted you gone, which shows that your sorry ass country has never really been worth a shit. Texas kicked your ass, and with Gov. Rick Perry likely our next president, you might want to get ready for another ass whipping from a Texan. Those who do not learn from the past are doomed to repeat it – Some cliché’s became cliché’s because they are true.

So make your reservations on Nicaragua Airlines, Guatemala Railways or Honduran Cruise Lines, but get your asses back where you belong, and soon. Time is coming when you will no longer have a choice of the mode of transport that takes you back to whatever toilet you were flushed out of. The US government will be making your travel arrangements, and I can guarantee, they will not be club class accommodations.

Leadership

Obama was an Illinois State senator, a part-time position, from 1997 – 2002 when he was elected to the US senate. After less than two years in the US senate, Obama announced his plans to run for the presidency which effectively made him a less than half-term senator. Sound familiar? Other than that, Barack Obama really has done nothing of any note, he was a ‘community organizer’ (communist for ‘agitator’) and, despite what his adoring minions say, he was not a “constitutional law professor”, he was a part-time adjunct lecturer. A position that hardly rises to the level of professor. And many of his attempts at trying to quote our founding document boldly bear this out. So, as far as leadership, as I like to say, Obama has never so much as supervised the graveyard shift at a Taco Bell. Barack Obama is no leader.

Now if you would like to se leadership, let’s take a look at Sarah Palin’s history, a much more open history than Obama’s I might add. To my knowledge Sarah Palin has not tried to conceal her school records, from ANY school she attended. Sarah Palin was Mayor of Wasilla, AK (1996-2002); President of Alaska Conference of Mayors; City Council member (1992-1996) and was a member of the Alaska Oil and Gas Conservation Commission from which she resigned in protest over the corruption, later proven, of a fellow republican member of the commission. Be cause a sitting member was barred from discussing such things by state law, Palin resigned so she could expose the actions of her fellow republican, in other words Palin had the integrity to put the public who she served above personal interests. That is leadership, that is integrity, and that is just on reason we need to elect Sarah Palin president in 2012.

But Will Sarah Palin Run For President?

No one knows for sure but with the ‘Undefeated’ playing to sold out theaters and reportedly changing many people’s minds about Sarah Palin she may well see that the mood and times are right for her to announce her run for the White House. One thing we know for sure is that Sarah Palin will run for president the way she has done everything else in her life, her way. No doubt Sarah Palin would stir up the current GOP candidates if and when she announces, and as always, this will send the MSM in to a feeding frenzy in their attempts to discredit and deride her, but the American public has had enough and the legacy media attacks this woman and her family at their own peril.

Would Sarah Palin make a good president, I think she would indeed. Certainly anyone is preferable to the president we have now and could hardly do worse.

With the Republican race already heating up at this early stage, many people are asking “where is Sarah?”. There were rumors before summer that Palin would announce her run for president sometime in June, as we know that did not come to pass. This has her millions of supporters asking the question if she is really going to make a run for the white house or not. Over the first half of the year Palin has done things that have driven pundits crazy and led her loyal supporters to believe that her announcement was coming any day, only to be disappointed once again. So what is the deal, is Sarah Palin running or not?

Well, the truth is that the only person who knows the answer to that question is Sarah Palin herself, and at the moment, she’s not talking. One thing we do know about Palin is that she has always done things her own way and marched to her own drummer from the time she entered politics. There is no reason to think that she would do things any differently now and tarnish her reputation as a maverick politician.

One thing is certain her entry in to the race is sure to liven things up a great deal and get liberal tongues wagging overtime in short order. Perhaps Palin is waiting in order to minimize the exposure of her family to anymore of the cruel and vicious attacks they have had to endure from a biased press corps in the past. Perhaps she just loves seeing them squirm a little bit as the news media attempts to interpret her every move and dissect her every word. The press and the liberal blogosphere claim that she is stupid ans irrelevant, yet they follow her every move and hang on her every word. Whether she runs or not Sarah Palin is anything but irrelevant in the world of politics today.

Would Sarah Palin have a chance if she does decide to run? The answer to that is most definitely yes. Palin has had four years to gain recognition and support, and to amass what is reportedly a substantial war chest through her SarahPAC.

No matter what, love her or hate her, Sarah Palin is a force to be reckoned with in American politics and the current candidates dismiss her as a potential threat at their own peril.

Could this finally be the smoking gun that will undo the Obama presidency? We’ve been asking for two years “Where’s the Birth Certificate?” Now we may well find out. I hope this book blows the lid right off the Obama fraud and leaves every leftist, commie, idiot who voted for this train wreck with a facial tick. It finally happened, gas has hit 5 dollars a gallon in Los Angeles as of yesterday. Oh, sure, not at every gas station but once that psychological threshold has been breached, one has to wonder how long it will take for others to follow suit. There is an even more unfortunate twist to this event, California is probably the state, whose citizens are least able to absorb such a hit to their pocketbooks. California’s unemployment rate is currently standing at around 12% with LA county hovering just below 13%. These outrageous prices are unlikely to help that situation any.

Being an ex-pat Californian my emotions on this are mixed. On one hand I have a very hard time twisting up any sympathy at all for a state that continues to elect local, state and national politicians that seem intent on using the state as a huge social experiment while driving out jobs and  businesses through burdensome taxes and over-regulation. Then turning around and taxing its remaining citizens to death for the privilege.

On the other hand all the people I truly love live in Southern California, and this is effecting them in a big way. It also has been one of the determining factors in my not returning home to be near family again and to continue a life there that has been postponed for almost 18 years now. Unfortunately, for me it would not makes sense to relocate there at this point as the employment prospects are dismal at best.

I have said for quite a while that 5 dollar gas would be the tipping point for America, that it was a psychological threshold that once crossed would signal the beginning of the end of the Obama administration. I still believe that to be true, I think when people from coast to coast start to feel the effects of gas prices not only at the pump but at the grocery store and when they buy other essential items, they will finally see, those who don’t already, what an ineffectual amateur we have in the White House. The White House today said that high prices were “not enough” for them to release oil from the strategic reserves. If this is not enough for them to take action, I have to wonder; What, exactly would it take for Obama to act as if he gave a tinkers damn about people suffering under these outrageous gas prices?

Anyone wondering why the Obama White House has not already tapped the US Strategic Oil Reserves, or begun, as they have been court ordered to do weeks ago, issuing drilling permits for the Gulf of Mexico, need only recall one quote from Candidate Obama in 2008.

While running for president, Obama famously said he sought to make electricity prices “necessarily skyrocket” through cap-and-trade legislation and “bankrupt” power plants committing the progressive crime of using coal as an energy source.

I’d say if you were wondering why Obama has been doing nothing in the face of what is by any measure a national emergency, besides his utter incompetence to hold the office of President, this would be it. This is Obama’s and the progressives wet dream – They don’t give two shits about you, you don’t think like them.

So much for “toning it down” huh? An elementary school music teacher in Wisconsin posted some extremely disturbing images on his blog and placed a link to these images on a blog he maintains for the children in his choir. You can view these vile images here.

Now if a student in ANY school district in this country was seen making similar drawings, that student would be suspended from school, sent to counseling and his parents home searched by police. What do you think should happen to a man who teaches elementary school children who posts such violent imagery? That’s right, he should be immediately fired and investigated. But, because he is a union member he will probably face no discipline whatsoever. Would you want your children having ANY interaction with a man who thinks posting images like this and linking to it from a site children visit is appropriate?

If I was parent, I would be livid and insist that this ‘teacher’ be censured, if not fired. This is the type of union approved educator that is molding young minds all across this country, is it any wonder that charter schools and home schooling is exploding in popularity?

 

 

Here we go again!

Four dollars a gallon at the pump has become a reality once again. Thankfully that price has not reached every part of the country, yet. But with Obama still continuing his amateur hour dog and pony show in the White House, those prices are sure to spread rapidly. At least he finally sent some US Naval forces to the region, only took him a month or so. Could you imagine the hue and cry from the left if GWB had waited this long to act? My God, they blasted him for waiting 7 whole minutes to leave the elementary classroom he was sitting in when informed of the 9-11 attacks (Never mind he had to wait for the Secret Service to decide their plan of action and bring the limos around for a safe egress). Of course, if George Bush were still in office, the carrier task force would have been en route at the first sign of trouble in Tunisia.

But when you are filling up with that 4 dollar-a-gallon petrol, so you can drive to the grocery store and buy the 4 dollar-a-gallon milk, ask yourself if it would not be wonderful if we had, right here in the good old US of A, some oil and natural gas we could develop right here at home and not have to depend on getting our energy from the volatile middle east? And not have to deal with prices shooting through the roof every time someone farts in the middle east.

Well, guess what? We have billions of barrels of proven oil reserves as well as the largest proven reserves of coal in the WORLD. Yet for decades the left and the evironmental-wackos have done everything they can to prevent us from developing our own domestic energy. That’s right, these lunatics, leftists and professional grievance mongers have been allowed to dictate domestic energy policy by the use of law suits and environmental hysteria from the fraud of man-made global warming. Think about that next time you are putting gas in your car. Think about if you are ok with people putting you in the poor house, taking food from your kids, because they think a two-inch fish, a tree, or a few caribou are more important than you being able to feed yourself and your family.

Then consider what needs to be done about it.

Like my last post I want to ask the voters of California the same question.

Who are you going to vote for to prove you are not idiots?

Right now the latest Rasmussen poll shows Jerry ‘Moonbeam’ Brown leading Meg Whitman by six percentage points, just slightly outside the margin of error. So I have to ask the voters of California this: What in the holy hell is wrong with you people? Are you really ignorant enough to put Jerry Brown back in the governors chair? Do you really not remember the last time he held that office? I do, and it was NOT pretty.

Wake up! Your state is broke, there is no more money, there is no one else you can take from, your budget deficit is going to be 12 billion this year. Yet Jerry Brown said two days ago that one of the first things he will do is provide state funded tuition to illegals if he is elected. In other words he is going to take the tax dollars of hard working Californians and provide free college tuition to people who broke our laws, came here illegally and don’t pay any taxes.

Now lay that on top of the billions already spent on welfare for illegals and just where in Gods name does Brown expect he is going to find the money? I say again, California is broke!! But Brown, like most far left democrats doesn’t care, why should he? It’s not his money, it’s yours. Do you want your money going to give a benefit to illegals you cannot get for your kids who were born here?

And do you really believe he will stop there? Is there anything in recent history that would cause you to believe that the democrats are not willing to tax you for every cent you make and give it to who they think deserves it more? Jerry Brown and the far left believe that the state knows better how to spend your money than you do. Do you really think that the government is entitled to take what you earn and give it to someone who is not supposed to be in this country in the first place?

Meg Whitman believes you deserve to keep the money you work hard to earn, she believes that California should encourage businesses to operate there, not drive them out with ever increasing taxes and regulation. Businesses that bring with them lots of J-O-B-S, something you are sorely lacking in California and hemorrhaging more of every month.

I have a vested interest in things getting better in California, and soon. I have a reason to come home after leaving the state 17 years ago, but it would be economic suicide for me to do so at the moment as there is little chance I could find work.

So you have a very clear choice on November 2nd Californians, you can elect Jerry brown and watch your state, the eighth largest economy in the world, turn in to a 3rd world type shithole with record unemployment and businesses racing for the exits as fast as they can get there. And when your economy finally reaches a catastrophic collapse and Gov. Brown looks to Washington DC for a handout he is going to find a very different congress from today’s, that is none too keen to bail out a state that caused its own demise. Think about that. Think about it hard. Because that is exactly what you are facing if you elect this hippie to run your state.

Your other choice is a pro-business, pro-capitalism conservative who believes in job creation and limited government. Meg Whitman believes that if you came here illegally you should not be allowed to live on the backs of legitimate tax paying citizens and if you are found to be here illegally you should face consequences. In short Meg Whitman thinks that you should keep more of what you earn and that everyone in California who wants a job should be able to find one.

So think about your state’s economy, think about the unemployment, think about the taxes and regulations, then ask yourself are these things making your life better or worse? And which gubernatorial candidate is most likely to continue, and even expand these harmful, job killing taxes and policies?

If you choose to elect old ‘Moonbeam’ again then you will deserve all that you get, and I will not feel bad for you at all. You generally get the government you deserve, if you are stupid enough to elect Jerry Brown, again, well, stupid is as stupid does.

Please California, I’m begging you, show me you are not all idiots, PLEASE!!!
